Domestic Violence

The Alliance was designed and led by Fundar (Mexico) and CEGENSA (Ghana) based on established research, and on new comparative research that the two research centres have undertaken

The Learning Alliance examined how to improve protection services for the survivors of domestic violence. It located violence against women as a public issue, and identified and assessed existing protection services for survivors of domestic violence – based on a comparison of cases from Latin America and Africa – and strategised on ways to improve policies and practices

This Learning Alliance Learning Alliance ran during 2016 and it is now closed to new members. Existing members can continue to log in for networking purposes.

Highlights from the Learning Alliance, summarising the learning phase, exchanges and conclusions were produced. A Study Tour to Mexico took place in November 2016, click here to read the report and find a short video of the lessons from the tour below.
